JOB SUMMARY:
The right candidate for this role will enjoy working in a high paced, medium-sized full service creative agency with multiple big brand clients. We specialize in the media, sports and entertainment industries. Our team is passionate, hard-working, hard-playing and a lot of fun. We’re not afraid of any project and love figuring out the tough ones. All positions are Manhattan based.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR TWO KINDS OF CANDIDATES:
1. Enthusiastic junior developers
2. Experienced mid-level developers with proven success records

JUNIOR POSITION: HIGH LEVEL REQUIREMENTS
  • Experience with HTML/CSS development
  • Experience with PHP development using best practices
  • Experience with MySQL
  • Experience with Photoshop image editing
  • Knowledge of content management tools I.E.: Drupal, Joomla
  • Knowledge of JavaScript and major libraries a plus I.E.: jQuery
  • Knowledge of CakePHP, CodeIgniter, Zend Framework a plus

MID-LEVEL POSITION: HIGH LEVEL REQUIREMENTS
  • Expertise in Object-Oriented Programming in PHP
  • Experience in developing web applications using an MVC approach a must
  • Experience in developing database-driven applications a must
  • Experience with HTML/XHTML/CSS/JavaScript a big plus
  • Knowledge of other programming languages a big plus (.NET, Java, ColdFusion, Ruby, Python)
  • Experience with Drupal, CakePHP, CodeIgniter, Zend Framework a plus
  • Server management experience a plus
  • Experience with Facebook, Twitter, YouTube API’s and REST Web Services a plus

  • Patient, clear thinking and level headed
  • Strong written and verbal communicator
  • Comfortable working with big brand clients and high-traffic websites
  • Enjoys working with a team to invent creative, efficient solutions to various challenges
  • Experience / knowledge with any of the following is a plus: ad serving solutions (DoubleClick, OAS etc.), Google Analytics, video serving solutions (BrightCove, Veoh, etc.), other web services, and any other programming languages
